San Francisco, CA, February 20, 2019 –(PR.com)– Brain Contents Inc., the world’s leading provider of pre-generated lottery numbers, has announced an update to their popular app, Lottopia. The app, which caters to American lottery players, has been totally overhauled. The new look will streamline user engagement with America’s largest national lottery games, Powerball and Mega Millions.
The app’s update comes on the heels of the company’s most successful story. Lottopia user, Jessica Ramirez, was issued a winning Powerball number through the app this past January.
Brain Contents reached out to Jessica to discuss the winning numbers she received from the Lottopia app. Four days before the fateful draw, Mrs. Ramirez received the combination 8, 12, 42, 46, 56, 23. Following Powerball’s January 2nd draw, it was discovered that all five of the white balls matched. A ticket purchased with these numbers would have been worth a whopping $1,000,000. It was one Powerball shy of the jackpot.
The company connected with Mrs. Ramirez’s daughter. At the time, her mother was working. She was asked if her mother had bought a ticket using numbers from the app, but was unsure.
Mrs. Ramirez is a basic user Lottopia app user which means that she does not subscribe to a premium plan. However, the Lottopia app still sends complimentary numbers to basic users every week for both games. The onus is then on the players to decide whether or not to use those numbers when they purchase lottery tickets.
It was a few hours later when company representatives finally connected with Jessica. She was very surprised to hear the news. “Oh, wow! This is really surprising. I had no idea…”
She was asked if she had been using the app. “Honestly, I downloaded the app a few months ago, but haven’t really used it much since then, but I do play Powerball a lot. Unfortunately, I didn’t use the numbers for this past draw!”
The news was disheartening, but the company was still interested in her future plans, especially considering she had received such lucky numbers as a free user. “Well, I’m going to keep playing the Powerball. I might get lucky again. I think I’ll just keep playing those lucky numbers!”
The odds of striking the 2nd place prize is 1 in 11,688,053. Since the app’s launch in the USA in 2018, it has predicted the Jackpot combinations for both games on multiple occasions.
